Balpara is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Distribution Substation Engineer
to join our supportive and passionate team. If you’re motivated, detail-oriented, and keen to work on innovative distribution projects, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing
- Design and manage kiosk and distribution substation projects (upgrades, replacements, and retrofits).
- Prepare construction plans, estimates, and system records that meet client and regulatory standards.
- Undertake minor site surveys when required and collaborate with our field and design teams.
- Proven experience in distribution substation design, ideally within the Victorian Electricity Industry.
- Mandatory qualification - Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent.
- Strong skills in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Clear communication skills and a commitment to Safety in Design.
- A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn and apply new technology.
- Registered Professional Engineer of Victoria (RPEV) in Electrical Engineering or currently working towards registration.
