Based in our Oakleigh office in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne we have an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer / Technical Officer  to join our team.

Our team has a depth of experience and maturity, offering services to the power utilities, civil, electrical and environmental engineering consultancies, electrical contractors, developers, councils and transport bodies.

About the roles:

• Delivering high-quality engineering designs in Overhead lines, Underground lines and Distribution Substation Projects
• Take part in reviewing project scope and make recommendations to improve project constructability costs
• Apply industry standards & Safety in Design guidelines
• Deliver effective design management on projects of various complexity to meet delivery timeframes, quality and cost
• Identify innovative solutions to enhance team efficiency
• Use your technical expertise to self & peer QA
• Mentor up and coming engineers / technical officers

• Demonstrated experience in Distribution Design projects
• Well-developed written and oral communication skills
• Understanding of Safety in Design practices
• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent
• RPEV accreditation advantages
• Proficient AutoCAD drafting
• Experience using Revit and NEARA would be beneficial but is not a prerequisite
