Experienced Electrical Detailer

Our Electrical Division specialises in Project Management, Engineering Design, Drafting, and Site Management for substation, underground, and overhead distribution projects within the power industry.
As we launch into an exciting new year of growth, we’re looking to expand our team with a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Draftsperson/Detailer who’s ready to make an impact from day one.
The Role
Based in our Oakleigh office, this role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of overhead and underground distribution projects, including customer-initiated electrical works. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality asset location services that meet industry standards and client expectations with career growth and a gateway into Design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site detailing of Electrical underground assets
- Create, revise, and update underground as built and technical drawings
- Ensure compliance with current drafting standards, legislative requirements, and industry best practice
- Deliver projects within defined scopes, timeframes, and specifications
- Perform quality checks and adhere to internal QA procedures
- Interpret technical information and communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
- This is a gateway into project design
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Extensive experience using AutoCAD
- Proven exposure to the electrical distribution industry, particularly underground asset location
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive mindset and ability to work collaboratively within a team
