We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager/Delivery Lead to join our growing Electrical Distribution Network team.
This is a high-impact role suited to a professional who thrives on ownership, stakeholder engagement, and delivering complex customer-driven projects. You’ll play a key role in delivering Customer Initiated Augmentation Works (CIAW) and similar projects, ensuring outcomes meet both customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring successful delivery of projects in line with business and regulatory requirements
- Lead end-to-end delivery of customer-initiated projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality and HS&E standards
- Negotiate project outcomes with customers, balancing commercial, technical, and network capacity requirements
- Manage internal and external stakeholders, including councils, service providers, and contractors
- Identify, communicate, and proactively manage project risks, ensuring minimal impact to delivery timelines and costs
- Prepare project scoping, concept, and detailed design documentation, ensuring compliance with internal processes and QA standards
- Review subdivision plans and provide clear, practical technical advice
- Act as a key technical point of contact for both internal teams and external stakeholders
- Proven experience within the electrical distribution / power utilities sector
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in project management or project delivery
- Strong understanding of network, regulatory, and customer-driven project requirements
- Experience managing stakeholders across customers, contractors, and authorities
- Diploma of Project Management or tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) are highly advantageous.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- A proactive mindset with the ability to manage risk, drive outcomes, and deliver under pressure
