Sag and Sway Assessment for Pump Track Project
May 9, 2025

La Trobe City Council are planning to construct a Pump Track for residents to enjoy. This community space is designed to increase community connection in a positive environment.

Due to the adjacent powerline overhanging the projected site, Balpara’s involvement was to conduct an overhead powerline survey at the site to assess the feasibility of the track location. Our survey assessment included providing clearances and maximum surface level heights for the track to be compliant and safe with the overhead powerlines.

Project Overview

La Trobe City Council prides itself on being a community that is equitable, liveable and sustainable, with a continued focus on healthy lifestyles supported by high quality recreational and cultural facilities and a natural environment that is nurtured and respected. This planned pump track provides a community space that connects like minded individuals surrounded by a beautiful natural environment.
